My father is ninety-four years old. Dad joined the army in 1947.

 
 
Dad has an old brother. My grandparents very love dad since childhood. But my father joined the army did not tell my grandparents, join the revolutionary team - the Chinese People's Liberation Army secretly with a few good young people in the village to.
My father was an artillery officer. During the three years, my father took part in eight battles of all sizes. He was part of the Bohai Column in the Battle of Shouguang, Weixian, Jinan and Huaihai. The Battle of Shanghai was fought by the 33rd Army. The liberation of the country, the end of the Shanghai campaign went to Korea, my father is the 27th army 81st Division artillery regiment.
In 1950, my father went to Korea to fight against the United States and aid the North for three years. He was seriously wounded on the Korean battlefield. My dad doesn't have half his left leg and five toes on his right foot. Dad convalesce home for three years.  
 Father dragged the incomplete body back home, still conscientiously work for the party.
Since childhood, my mother often urges us to study hard and reminds us that today's life is not easy. Every morning when I got up, my mother let us take my father's prosthesis beside the bed. It was too heavy for us to carry (made of pure steel). Mom said it would make your shoulders swell if you carried them all day. We know how hard it is for dad to lug his heavy leg.
This year's August 1 which is Army Day, my father is spent in the hospital. I once again see my father that incomplete body, my eyes wet, tears blurred his eyes, tears can not stop the flow out of the eye socket...

In this happy life, we must not forget the great achievements of our fathers! The disabled generation with hard working must not be forgotten! They are the precious wealth of the revolution! They are examples for us to follow! They are our motivation! Although the old solider has been countable, although the soldiers in the war of liberation has been a few, but their image, their deeds, their spirit will always be written in the history of the Chinese revolution!
