To further care for the physical and mental well-being of persons with disabilities and to strengthen rehabilitation and support services, Mr. Wang Wei, General Manager of Shanghai Disan Prosthetics and Orthotics Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the 8th Conference of Members of the China Association of Assistive Products. During the conference, Disan was once again elected as a governing council member of the association.
 
Overview and Key Agenda of the Conference
The conference, officially approved by the Central Social Work Department and the Ministry of Civil Affairs, was held in Beijing on July 10, 2025. It successfully completed its scheduled agenda and comprehensively reviewed the significant achievements made over the past five years. Distinguished leaders including Jin Nuo, Secretary of the 14th Joint Committee of National Industry Associations and Chambers of Commerce, and Zhu Yujun, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Social Affairs of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, attended the event and provided guidance.

Through democratic elections, Comrade Yan Heping was re-elected as President of the 8th Council of the Association with a high number of votes. A total of 58 executive council members were also elected, establishing a new, professionally authoritative leadership structure. The conference invited officials from national ministries and commissions to interpret the latest policy directions, strategic opportunities, and challenges, offering authoritative guidance with a forward-looking vision and innovative thinking to drive industrial innovation and transformation.
