How to better adapt prosthetic products to the needs of patients has always been an important focus of prosthetic rehabilitation services. Recently, Mr. Yu Kewei, General Manager of Shanghai Disan Prosthetics & Orthotics Co., Ltd., was invited to visit prosthetic rehabilitation centers in Chengdu, Tianjin, and other locations for professional exchange and guidance. The discussions covered product technology, patient services, and cooperation opportunities, with in-depth exchanges held with local professionals.
 
During the exchanges, General Manager Yu Kewei shared his experience based on clinical practice, covering areas such as patient assessment, prosthetic selection, and the fitting process, while also discussing practical issues encountered in daily work. Drawing on local cases, Mr. Yu provided explanations of the international prosthetic brands and related products that Shanghai Disan cooperates with, covering their design concepts, functional features, and fitting methods, helping rehabilitation center staff gain a deeper understanding of product applications and key fitting considerations.
 
In addition to professional exchanges, General Manager Yu Kewei worked together with staff from local rehabilitation centers to provide prosthetic fitting guidance. He carefully learned about the patients’ physical conditions, user experiences, and actual needs, and provided professional recommendations regarding prosthetic selection, fitting and adjustment, and use. Through face-to-face communication, the team gained a deeper understanding of patients’ needs in actual use, bringing technical exchange and patient services more closely together.
 
During the exchanges, staff from the rehabilitation centers in different locations also shared practical cases from their daily work. Both sides communicated on topics including technical application, patient fitting, and service procedures, while exchanging views on follow-up cooperation models, project implementation, and service coordination, and further exploring the establishment of cooperation mechanisms.
 
The event further strengthened communication and connections between Shanghai Disan and prosthetic rehabilitation institutions in Chengdu, Tianjin, and other locations, while laying a foundation for future professional technical exchanges and cooperation.
