The Eqwal Network: Empowering Patients Worldwide
2025-02-21 Hits:
As the Eqwal network continues to grow around the world, more and more patients are reaping the benefits of wider product selections, increased availability and faster access. Through its products division brands, Eqwal manufactures components within its own factories, marketing and distributing numerous products for the orthopaedics market, with Steeper servicing the United Kingdom. With the help of group members JANTON and Corazza, Steeper products are reaching new corners of the globe, empowering new patients to live independently.

Janton Supply Steeper Upper Limb Products

For over 75 years, JANTON has been a renowned supplier and manufacturer of orthopaedic products. Headquartered in Saumur, France, JANTON is recognised nationally with products such as the Motilo and Yao being staples in their range. As partners in the Eqwal distribution network, JANTON customers in France can now access products from the Steeper upper limb prosthetic range including all Espire Elbow models and the Myo Kinisi Bluetooth.

Mimicking the natural aesthetic of the human arm, the Espire Elbow offers powered and mechanical options providing greater choice to complement and enhance individual requirements. The Myo Kinisi Bluetooth is a myoelectrically controlled terminal device engineered to provide optimal control, responding intuitively to the strength and speed of the user’s muscle contractions. This prosthetic hand is designed to be tailored by the prosthetist via an App to the individual’s needs, with multiple wrist, size and hand mode options for the patient’s comfort and usability. Together, these devices create a cohesive limb build ideal for a range of users.

Luc Dereux, CEO of JANTON Solutions said, "We are excited to expand our distribution range to include Steeper products because it brings significant benefits to our customers and end users. By incorporating Steeper into our offerings, we continue to ensure that our customers receive a wide range of high-quality and innovative solutions. We believe this addition significantly enhances our portfolio to provide a broad range of solutions for clinician and patient choice."

Corazza Expand their Product Offering to Prosthetics
Also introducing Steeper products to their portfolio is Eqwal partner, Corazza. Founded in Italy in 1968, carpenter Dino Corazza, gave his name to a new company initially specialising in leather orthopaedic insoles. Today, Corazza is delving into new ventures and expanding their offering to the prosthetics market with the introduction of an in-house clinician and access to Steeper upper limb products. Corazza Managing Director, Luca Minghetti commented, “Corraza is undergoing significant developments, and it's an exciting time for all involved! We look forward to continuing our support for our existing customers while actively seeking to establish new partnerships within the Italian prosthetics market with the assistance of Steeper and their extensive product range.”
